This rough-sawn Hickory piece is approximately 7/8 inch thick and maintains a useful, consistent width of about 7 to 8 inches over its full 10-foot length. Representative widths are approximately 7 inches, 8 inches, 7 inches, and 8 inches from base to taper. The upper-end wane retains substantial original bark, giving the board strong rustic character.
